Finally got to “finish” this one. Lovely mellow rhythm section and a wobble-like bass makes this track stand out a bit.
I experimented a bit with the mix this time, it’s always good to let go of your habbits and try out something new.

This track is one of my more experimental ones. It came about after a long period away from the studio. When I got back I just felt like letting go and let the sounds control the situation. After about 10 hours of intense production, this came out.
I don’t know quite how to describe it, other then breakbeats wrapped in a melancoly psychedelic package.

I felt it was time to revisit the past. I used to do a lot of psy and progressive psytrance some years ago, so I thought it would be fun to try to use what I’ve learnt since then to make a danceable psychedelic track. Not too fast though :) (120 bpm)
I think it came out pretty well.
This track is a very polished dub inspired track. I went for that “shimmering” sound, and i think i succeeded quite well. Maybe it could use a bit more work in the bass department, but I’m pretty happy with the result overall.

This track is one of my own favorites. A special mix between several genres, though mainly wandering around in the psychedelic realm.
I want to give this an overhaul some day, as it is a couple of years old and my skills have improved a bit since then.

This track is also a bit experimental. The whole track is basically build on top of the bass sequence, wich comes from my Moog Voyager. A good example of a single sound inspiring a whole production.

This track is partly scitzophrenic, as the first and second part only shares bpm and tonality. I especially like the last part of it with the beautiful arpeggio sequence, so be sure to let it finish when you’ve pressed play.

This track is probably the one who started my interest in producing psychedelic dub. It’s from early 2008, and probably the oldest track here. A lot of good ideas in this one, though it isn’t perfect (but music never is, is it?)

This track is one of the few uptempo productions I’ve made the last couple of years. I used to make a lot of psytrance and techno, but my inspiration just doesn’t take me there anymore. When I say uptempo, it might be a stretch, as a big part of the track dives back into the familiar chill/dub univers, but I think it worked out pretty well.
